The Baltimore Saturday Visitor began publication in January 1841[?] and ceased in 1847. It was published weekly. Title history based on January 16, 1841 [v. 11, no. 1]. The newspaper continues the Saturday Morning Visiter (Baltimore: 1840) and was absorbed by the National Era (Washington, D.C.)

Archives' collection includes issues for 1846 (MSA SC 3686): May 9, June 20, July 25, September 12-19, October 3, and October 17.
