Published volumes on Maryland and United States history; "History of the Riverdale Presbyterian Church," by Louise J. Hienton; magazine,A.D., United Presbyterian Edition, February 1976. Collection also includes loose-leaf notebooks of donor's typescript notes on Prince George's County, MD c. 1696-1800 (later dates appear in "Miscellaneous" volume at end of listing). Most volumes indexed. In these notes, Mrs. Hienton transcribed references to the people, land, and institutions of Prince George's County history derived from land, court, census, and church records, Archives of Maryland, the Annapolis Maryland Gazette, other newspapers, and other sources. She noted the source for all information transcribed as well as the page number and date of entry.
