Description
Presentation sword and scabbard for Colonel Nathan Towson (1784-1854) procured by the Maryland General Assembly, Resolution 63 of the Acts of 1832. The sword was designed by silversmith Thomas Fletcher of Fletcher and Gardiner, Philadelphia.
