Description
The Lutheran Observer and Weekly Religious and Literary Visiter began publication May 9, 1834 [new ser., v. 1, no. 37] and ceased February 14, 1840 [new ser. v. 7, no. 26]. It was published weekly. It was also published as the Lutheran Observer May 9, 1934-December 29, 1837 and the Observer. Volumes for [September 1, 1837]-February 14, 1840 also called whole no. [210]-whole no. 337. Title from caption. The newspaper continues the Lutheran Observer and Weekly Literary and Religious Visiter (Baltimore) and was continued by the Lutheran Observer (Baltimore: 1840).
