The Maryland Gazette and State Register began publication January 1, 1824 [v. 79, no. 1] and ceased December 28, 1826 [v. 81, no. 52]. It was published weekly. The newspaper continues the Maryland Gazette and Political Intelligencer (Annapolis: 1813) and was continued by the Maryland Gazette (Annapolis: 1827).
