The Star began publication November 16, 1908 [v. 1, no. 79] and ceased November 30, 1920 [v. 25, no. 91]. It was published daily, except Sunday and issued in various editions. It was also published as the American Star and the Baltimore Star. The newspaper continues the American Star (Baltimore: 1908) and was absorbed by the Baltimore News (Baltimore: 1892).
