Carroll, Craddock, Jenson papers. Collection divided into three groups: Anna Ella Carroll; Craddock family; Jenson family. Only Carroll papers were microfilmed. Original collection available at the Maryland Historical Society. Includes correspondence and essays relating to the Civil War, especially the Tennessee campaign. Correspondents include Governor Thomas Hicks, Lemuel D. Evans, Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin Wade, Charles M. Scott, Edward Stanton, Samuel Hunt, and Mary H. Carroll. Essay topics include natural rights, government, religious freedom, Maryland's Toleration Act, and the Civil War.
