History
(Baltimore: Guide Publications) The Guide (Northeast edition) began publication February 16, 1950 [v. 23, no. 51] and ceased May 24, 1951 [v. 25, no. 14]. It was published weekly. Other editions include the Guide (Baltimore: 1950: southeast and county edition). The newspaper continues the East Baltimore Guide (Baltimore: 1948) and merged with the Guide (Baltimore: 1950: southeast and county edition) to form the Guide (Baltimore: 1951).
