History
(College Park, Prince George's County: Students of the University of Maryland) The Diamondback began publication June 9, 1921 [v. 1, no. 1]. It published 5 issues weekly during the academic year; weekly during the summer, beginning 1968; frequency varies. Issues for June 9, 1921 and October 5, 1921 both numbered as v. 1, no. 1. The newspaper continues the University Review (College Park: 1920).
