History
Chatsworth Methodist Episcopal Church was formed in 1861. From 1864 to 1898, it was known as Chatsworth Independent Methodist Church; from 1898 to 1914, it was again known as Chatsworth Methodist Episcopal Church. In 1914, it merged with Fulton Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church. Fulton Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church was organized in 1889 as Lafayette Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church.
