The Weekly Marylander began publication April 24, 1828 and ceased November 6, 1828 [v. 1, no. 29]. It was published weekly as an anti-Jacksonian campaign paper, supporting John Quincy Adams for president. Title history based on May 1, 1828 [v. 1, no. 2].
