(New York, NY: [J.S. Bartlett]) The Albion, or, British, Colonial, and Foreign Weekly Gazette began publication in June 1822 [v. 1, no. 1] and ceased December 27, 1856 new ser., v. 15, no. 52]. It was published weekly. Title history based on June 29, 1822 [v. 1, no. 2]; title from caption. Variant titles include the Albion and the British, Colonial, and Weekly Foreign Gazette. The newspaper was continued by the Albion (New York). This title is available on microfilm from University Microfilm International, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
