Description
Norris Papers, MS. 24: deed, 1869; financial accounts and receipts, 1861-1868; subpoena, 1846; insurance policy, 1862; leases, 1866-1867; bill of sale of slave, 1850; and patent rights, "improved spring bed bottom," 1859. Collection includes materials of Basil Norris (1789-1865), a grocer in Frederick; John Norris (1803-1873) and William Lee Norris (1830-1870) who lived in Woodsboro District, FR. Originals are owned by the Historical Society of Frederick County, Inc.
