Description
Artwork by artist Florence Riefle Bahr (1908-1998), including sketchbooks, drawings, paintings, and prints. A full biography of Florence Riefle Bahr written for her 1999 induction, is available on the Maryland Women's Hall of Fame site.

Includes artwork of significant events relating to civil rights and the peace movement, including the funerals of President John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert Kennedy, the trial of H. Rap Brown, prints of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the United Farm Workers March, the trial of the Catonsville 9, and the trial of Governor Marvin Mandel. Collection also contains works by Mrs. Bahr's husband, Leonard Bahr.
