The Baltimore Weekly Clipper began publication in 1847[?] and ceased in December 1849. It was published weekly. Title history based on August 21, 1847 [v. 8, no. 34]. Other editions include the Baltimore Clipper (Baltimore: 1847) and Bull & Tuttle's New Monthly Baltimore Clipper and General Advertiser (Baltimore: 1843). The newspaper continues the Ocean (Baltimore: 1840) and was continued by the Weekly Clipper (Baltimore: weekly).
