The American Patriot began publication September 18, 1802[?] and ceased August 13, 1803 [v. 1, no. 98]. It was published triweekly, January 11-August 13, 1803; weekly, 1802-January 4, 1803. Title history based on September 25, 1802 [v. 1, no. 2]. The newspaper was continued by the American Patriot and Fell's Point Advertiser (Baltimore: 1803).
