The Maryland Herald, and Elizabeth-Town Weekly Advertiser began publication February 26, 1801 [v. 5, no. 209] and ceased February 15, 1804 [v. 7, no. 364]. It was published weekly. The newspaper continues the Maryland Herald, and Elizabeth-Town Advertiser and was continued by the Maryland Herald, and Hager's-Town Weekly Advertiser (Hagerstown: 1804).
