Description
Original Certificate entitled "Domain of Neptunus Rex" issued on the USS Maryland on November 30, 1928 to A.A. Gaudreau, fireman 3rd class, signed by Herbert Hoover. (Certificates such as these were issued to sailors the first time they crossed the equator.) Collection also includes some detailed information on the USS Maryland from the Department of the Navy Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships.
