Description
Published and unpublished research papers on Maryland history topics that include: the 1864 Ladies Sanitary Fair; post Civil War benevolent activities in Baltimore; the Maryland women's suffrage movement; biographical sketch of Margaret Thomas Carey (1869-1945), founder of the Baltimore Interracial Fellowship.

Included is the 1994 M.A. Thesis [University of Maryland Baltimore County] of Robert W. Schoeberlein entitled "Baltimore in 1861: A Case Study of Southern Unionism", stored at 1/45/13/31

Images include copy photographs of Polish immigrants John and Stefania Sokolowski, c. 1920 and 1940s Naval Academy views.
