Description
Items relating to Maryland Women's Hall of Fame recipient Etta Haynie Maddox (c. 1860 - 1933), who was the first licensed woman lawyer in the state of Maryland and noted women's rights advocate. This collection includes a certificate and portfolio for the Hall of Fame awards ceremony in March 2003 signed by Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. and an Oneida silverplate bowl engraved for Ms. Maddox.
