Description
Items signed by John F. Wiggins, carpenter, Maryland State House in 1882. Newspapers, Sun Baltimore, 19 October 1882; Baltimore American (Baltimore) 10 October 1882. The newspapers were discovered on June 22, 2001 in the columns of the front portico of the Maryland State House during restoration work. Papers signed: "John F. Wiggins, Age 53." Wood board removed from State House Dome during rennovation, also signed by John F. Wiggins on December 2, 1882.
