Description
16mm color film of St. Helena's Island (in the Severn River) taken by the then owner, Eugene J.C. Raney (Robert Merrick also once owned the island). The film dates from 1947-50 and shows the various buildings and people swimming, boating and relaxing. Notable is the few shots of the "Amphibious Duck", a WWII era military vehicle capable of travel on land and sea. .

Note: quality of the videotape is marginal with much blurred footage.
