"Besley Family campsite" from the personal collection of Offutt Johnson Five photographs, taken by Frederick W. Besley (Maryland's first State Forester, 1906-1942), of Cascade Falls at Patapsco Valley State Park, Baltimore County. The images represent both the birth and birthplace of outdoor recreation on public lands in Maryland.
