Description
Digital images created by Maryland State Archives from a private collection of Maryland and Washington, D.C. maps: Series 1 consists of digital scans of individual maps, atlases and cartographic publications containing maps relating to Maryland and the Capitol region (see inventory). Series 2 consists of twelve volumes of Encyclopedia Perthensis; or Universal Dictionary of the Arts, Sciences, Literature, etc... (Edinburgh: John Brown), 1816 (incomplete set: volumes 1 to 9 feature "A" through "FOU"; volumes 21 to 23 feature "SIN" through "Z".
