Description
Maryland State Roads Comission photographs of Governors Tawes and McKeldin and other state officials at various road, bridge and tunnel openings and ceremonies. In addition, the collection features informal shots of David M. Nichols (and State Roads officals) at events hosted on Nichols' Kent Island farm. A number of newspaper clippings are also included.
History
Bramwell Kelly was one of three chairmen of the State Roads Commission in the 1950s.
