Description
Scrapbook/binder of various material relating to the World War II experiences of Staff Sargent G. W. Creighton III, 392 Field Artillery Battalion, 42nd Infantry Division. The binder contains military orders, newspaper clippings, postcards and WWII era (and earlier) European currency. Notable is the inclusion of a run of the Baltimore area neighborhood newsletter entitle, "The Salute" (September 1942 to December 1945), a publication sent to "our friends in the armed services."
