Description
8 CDs with scanned lithographs and photographs depicting early images (inside and out) of Spring Grove, originally called "Maryland State Hospital for the Insane." The CDs contain images of John Hopkins and Enoch Pratt, various physicians, nurses, and patients inside the hospital; some patient scenes are sadly graphic. Also, early book drafts of "Spring Grove State Hospital" by Dr. David S. Helsel, M.D., and Trevor J. Blank, floor plans, blueprint drawings and one CD of images of the hospital and staff in 2008.
