Description
This is an artificial image collection of known records and artifacts relating to John J. Omenhausser, a Confederate prisoner of war at Point Lookout prison, 1864-1865. (NOTE: Other works by this artist have come to light since 2008.) All images are restricted to staff use only for the purposes of publishing Ross Kimmel's and Mike Musick's edition of Omenhausser's work, I Am Busy Drawing Pictures: The Civil War Art and Letters of Private John Jacob Omenhausser.
