DVD oral histories recorded as digital audio files. Personal interviews of the residents of Shady Side, Maryland. Interviews include boat builders, storytellers, a WWII news editor memoirs, a general practitioner of rural Shady Side, a Tuskegee Airman (LeRoy Battle), the great-granddaughter of Captain Salem Avery, educators, sailors, yachtsman, watermen and long time residents of Shady Side.
