Manuscript documents from the late eighteenth early nineteenth, and twentieth century, including: correspondence pertaining to Governor and Council record books and proceedings under the care of Dr. Upton Scott of Annapolis; List of Assembly record books kept in the State House in 1765; a resolution by the House of Delegates calling for the removal of Associate Judge Zebulon Hollingsworth of the Sixth Judicial District; other correspondence to State officials and the Council; correspondence written to William B. Stone, Esquire of Annapolis; and a clerk's copy of a letter from Thomas Jefferson recognizing Louis Francis Le Loup as “provisioned commissary of Commercial Relations at Baltimore.” Two documents pertain to the design of the U.S.S. Maryland silver service.
