Description
The James R. and C. Timothy Hopkins Collection includes a bound volume of The Baltimore City Directory and Register for 1814-1815 by James Lakin (Baltimore: J. C. O'Reilly, 1814) with Levy Solomon's signature on the frontispiece. Also includes transcriptions by Elizabeth Hopkins (June 2001) from Hopkins family diaries: Milton O. Hopkins 1899 diary and an excerpt from Mary Elizabeth Brown Purdy's diary of 1894 pertaining to the Hopkins and Fawcett families and Shipley Chapel.
