Description
Records and object relating to the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), 89th national annual conference in Baltimore, June 11-14, 1995. Papers record committee member roster, organizational structure, correspondence, GFOA meeting minutes (1992-1995), conference published booklet, GFOA newsletters, and printed brochures on the conference in Baltimore. An acrylic paperweight with the GFOA Baltimore conference logo is included.
History
Gift of Doris A. Byrne, who served as Secretary to the Committee of the General Finance Officers Association Baltimore Conference in 1995 and also as Administrative Officer for the Maryland Deposit Insurance Fund. She continued her career in public service at the Maryland State Archives until her retirement in 2010.
