Research materials relating to publication, Lincoln in Annapolis by Rockford E. Toews, an Annapolis historian, with an introduction by State Archivist Dr. Edward C. Papenfuse. The booklet is published in honor of the bicentennial of the birth of President Abraham Lincoln by the Maryland State Archives (Annapolis, February 2009). It discusses Lincoln’s visit to Annapolis in February 1865.

The booklet was made possible through grants from the Friends of the Maryland State Archives and the City of Annapolis.
