Digital scans from 4 Lithographs by William Sharp depicting created from a series of courtroom drawings he made during the Alger Hiss Trial, from originals taken in on deposit for imaging.
History
William Sharp (born Leon Schleifer) was an immigrant artist from Austria who fled Nazi Germany. He was active in New York during the 1930s-1950s, where he became known for his political cartoons and courtroom drawings.
