Description
Collection of 160 photographs by Francis E. Engle, an amateur photographer based in Annapolis and member of the Annapolis Camera Club. Subjects include: architecture in Annapolis, Southern Maryland, Harper’s Ferry, and Washington D.C.; U.S. Naval Academy grounds; studio portraits; glamor photographs; still lifes; and others. A photographer’s portfolio with 18 photographs by Engle in original packaging and award ribbons from his entry into local and national photography competitions are also in this collection.

One photographic print in this collection is by Marion E. Warren who with Engle was a member of the Annapolis Camera Club.

History
