Personal papers of Lutheran pastor, Rev. Dr. Frederick R. Seibel, Jr. which include his records of baptisms, marriages, and funerals at which he officiated; research, articles, and news clippings on religious and historical subjects; and correspondence relating to his activities with The Boy Scouts of America. Rev. Dr. Seibel served as minister for the following Lutheran parishes in Maryland: Utica Parish, Frederick County, 6/1/1929-12/31/1942 Silver Run Parish, Carroll County, 1/1/1943-3/31/1958 Trinity (East) Parish, McElderry and Port Sts., Baltimore, MD, 4/1/1958-12/31/1963 Magothy-Chelsea Parish, Pasadena, MD, 1/1/1964-5/31/1971

Dr. Seibel was born on April 25, 1906 and died on January 28, 1990.
