Description
Blueprint reproduction on treated cloth of a printed certificate in frame, for "Good Fellowship Dinner in Honor of His Excellency The Governor of Maryland The Honorable Harry W. Nice Hosted by Col. Leopold Phillips on April 16, 1935 at 225 West 86th Street, New York City, New York." The certificate is signed in pen by Governor Nice.

Backing papers from the original framing are included in the same folder to provide additional information.
The location of this residence is a neighborhood called "Germantown" on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York. The guest list and menu are featured on the certificate.

History
Mr. Bode is the cousin of one of the dinner's attendees and the framed certificate was found hanging in the Insurance office where Mr. Bode's father worked until the 1970s.
