Description
Records of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Liberty Road and Rolling Road, Rockdale, Baltimore County (1848-2012). Collection consists of parish registers (earliest volumes in German); congregational meeting minutes; church organization records, newsletters, histories, and photographs. The earliest parish records in German give the church's name as St. Peter's from 1850-1852, and then the name was changed to St. Jacobi Congregation in 1852. The Parish is first called St. James by 1899.
