Description
Publications and illustrations by Josephine Thoms. Mrs. Thoms is a fine artist, who also contributed greatly to the public understanding about Maryland's environment during a critical period of change. Her environmental art and illustration includes her work for the Chesapeake Bay Institute of Johns Hopkins University from 1950-1952. Mrs. Thoms also served as the official Scenic and Wild Rivers Illustrator for the State of Maryland Department of Natural Resources 1976-1995.
