Description
Materials collected by Helen Szablya who served prominently as Assistant Press Secretary for the Office of the Mayor from 1983-1985, and as Director of Public Information for the Maryland Department of Human Resources during Schaefer's terms as Governor from 1990-1995. Szabyla also served as Project Director at the Baltimore Theatre Project, co-creator and director of the play, "Baltimore Voices", and several other community empowerment, State of Maryland, and federal organizations.
