COLLECTION RECEIVED, UNPROCESSED TO DATE: Collection of video footage by a former Maryland film producer, George M. Callaghan whose company, Callaghan Films, Ltd., produced promotional projects for state and county tourist agencies during the 1980s. To celebrate Maryland’s 350th Anniversary, Mr. Callaghan, his cinematographer, Murray C. Nelson, Jr., along with co-producer, Robert Cole, recreated the seminal moments in Maryland history for a series of TV public service spots known as The Maryland Minutes. Also included in the collection is Callaghan Film’s donation of TV commercials, which capture the corporate and business culture of the state.
