Description
IN PROCESSING: Microfilm reels loaned to Maryland State Archives (MSA) for a grant-funded digitization project of newspapers from various repositories. The Historic Maryland Newspaper Program (HMNP) at the University of Maryland Libraries and the Maryland State Archives have collaborated on a project to digitize historic newspapers in the state since 2012. This collection serves to hold images of newspapers from partner organizations, including the Enoch Pratt Free Library. The newspapers will be made accessible by the Library of Congress on the Chronicling America website. The collection is also associated with the preservation backup files from the project as part of the UMD-MSA partnership.
