Description
RESTRICTED COLLECTION IN PROCESSING Collection of documentary films from award winning producer, Susan Hadary. Included in the collection is "King Gimp" the 2000 Academy Award winning documentary. Some films belong to a series of documentaries on a given topic or theme. Descriptions provided by Susan Hadary. "Stars of Inclusion" (Disability Awareness series): In the 1980's principals and schools were reluctant to allow children with physical disabilities into mainstream classrooms, despite the "Education for All Act" passed by Congress in 1975. This series of documentaries follows pioneering kids who showed they belong in the mainstream.
