Description
IN PROCESSING: Cookbooks passed down in the Turnbull - Sellman - Brogden family line of southern Anne Arundel County. One manuscript cookbook is associated with Margaret Sellman Brogden and dates from the 1840s. The receipes are inserted in a copybook of a St. John's College student. The other cookbook begins in 1869 and has inserts, ephemera, recipes and newspaper clippings from the early twentieth century through the World War I era.
