Description
IN PROCESSING: Audio-visual materials from the Annual Father’s Day Foundation (AFDF) Oral History Project that comprises a collection of oral histories that illuminate the African American experience in the Broadneck Peninsula. These interviews took place at Asbury Broadnceck United Methodist Church. The speakers narrate personal narratives, cultural traditions, and the rich heritage of the local community. They highlight the African American experiences living in Brown's Woods, Mulberry Hill, and other areas on the Broadneck Peninsula located near Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay.
