Papers and books of the Sands family of Annapolis, including diaries and notebooks of Susie Sands (1862-1897) and correspondence of Susie Sands (1868-1877); correspondence of Jane C. Sands (1864-1866); business papers relating to Joseph Sands (c1808-1826), James Sands (c1840-1865), and Martin F. Revell (c1839-1845); family wills and letters of administration; set of London and Gentleman's magazines (1743-1787). Correspondence and documents concerning Annapolis, the Civil War, the family's packet shipping business and many other topics included. This collection has been digitized by Maryland State Archives in cooperation with Ms. Ann Jensen and Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
