Description McCulloh Family Papers: Most of the business correspondence is between Philadelphia and Baltimore and covers the commerce of the mid-Atlantic region. The firm of Knox, Usher, and McCulloh, located in Baltimore, is the principal correspondence in the eighteenth century. The collection also contains references to the medical training of family members, including Samuel McCulloh; letters of George McCulloh, who served in the U.S. Navy in the early 1820s; letters from the Todd family of Virginia and Kentucky, who are related to the McCullohs by marriage; plats of land owned by the family in Pennsylvania; and family news.
