Papers pertaining to the Chatard family, a French emigre family that arrived in Baltimore in 1800. Collection includes correspondence, notes on the family in France, power of attorney, certificates of residence, descriptions of various Chatard properties, certificates of withdrawal of sequestration agains Chatard properties, guardian papers, letters of E. Ducatel to F.E. Chatard, letters to F.E. Chatard and translation and transcriptions of various papers.
