Description
2 black and gold ribbon pins.
1. Gold at the top with black lettering: "Delegate from Maryland". Black below with gold lettering: "Democratic National Convention. Kansas City. 1900." Maryland seal in the center surrounded by emblem of an eagle with oak leaves, olive branches and the American flag. Stamped on reverse side: Murray Vandiver.
2. Same design as other pin but colors are reversed. Lettering at the top: "Alternate from Maryland". No name on the reverse side.

Description
Large commemorative medal in a red case. Inscription around the margin: "Sacerdos. 30 Jun 1861. Episcopus. 16 Aug 1868. Archiepiscopus. 3 Oct 1877. Cardinalis. 30 Jun 1880." In the center is an engraving of the Basilica of the Assumption Catholic Cathedral in Baltimore. At the bottom is a coat of arms design with the dates 1861-1911. On the reverse side is an engraving of James Cardinal Gibbons.

Small commemorative medal in round green case. Front side lettering around margin: "National Star-Spangled Banner Centennial. Baltimore, MD, U.S.A. Sept. 6-13, 1914." Engraving in the center shows American flag and olive branches draped around image of Francis Scott Key.
Reverse side lettering around margin: "'Tis the Star-Spangled Banner." Image engraved in the center shows Francis Scott Key standing on a ship deck viewing the American flag through the smoke.

Metal badge with three sections. Top section is an engraving of Francis Scott Key and others on a ship deck viewing the American flag through the smoke. Above this in an engraving of Battle Monument and the words: "Baltimore Sept. 6-13." The center section reads: "Reception Committee." The bottom section is a pendant engraved with the American flag and olive branches draped around the image of Francis Scott Key.

2 identical black and gold ribbon badges. Top plate reads "Maryland." Pendant below shows the Maryland seal surrounded by "Maryland at Panama-Pacific International Exposition. 1915." On the reverse side of the pendant, "Maryland, My Maryland" and "The Star-Spangled Banner" are written around the margin. In the center olive branches surround images of James Ryder Randall and Francis Scott Key.

Center is engraved with an eagle holding an olive branch and arrows in front of the US shield. Lettering on the reverse side: "Commemorative Medal. Awarded by the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Murray Vandiver. Havre de Grace, Maryland." Below are engraved olive brances, oak leaves and the Panama-Pacific International Exposition emblem.
