Description
Lord Baltimore's Letter Seal at Arms. Official documents in colonial Maryland were occasionally sealed with "his Lordships lesser seal at arms." The coat of arms is supported by leopards, which is heraldically correct, rather than the plowman and fisherman that appear on the Great Seal of 1648.
